The choice for worked alternate lighting rather than direct, not to mention a dark environment is perfect in bringing out a natural luminousness and ethereal flavour in both tone and texture. The soft light glazes on her smooth yet firm, healthy curves and gentle headphone glow on her countenance is nothing short of wholesomeness personifed. Such subtle lighting defines and supplements contours through various shade, gradation and depth; direct exposure or daylight on other hand sadly kills all these tendencies in favour of concrete colour.
It also helps that the meditative, introspective nature of the OC further amplifies the soul of this piece. Her expression is also hauntingly captivating while naturally honest, focused via gently lighted, gorgeous eyes.
