Wanted to draw my redhead from "Curves" again, because I liked her so much, so I did a more detailed/close-up version
If I draw her a 3rd time, Ill probably give her a name and a proper outfit etc, make her an official OC of mine (its been a really long time since I made a new character)
About the drawing itself, well its one of my personal favorites... I really like the warm tones, the texture (zoom in to see it properly), and her expression especially
In other news, I actually have some full body drawings coming up after this, since Ive been focusing so much on portraits, its nice to add some variety, so Ill post those later this week

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactMy first critique, so don't kill me. ^_^
The feeling this piece displays to me is very peaceful and sad, I almost want to give this girl a cookie.
Her expression is terrific, from the set of her mouth and the feeling of her eyes being closed tightly even though it looks soft, she's gorgeous. The angle of her eyebrows and how her teeth are shut together gives off a perfect expression of pain and suffering of the emotional kind.
It almost looks as if she's leaning against a wall for support, trying to hold herself up from dropping into the pool of grief for something.
Her positioning is great as well, completely open and sad but still guarded. I want to know what happened behind the scenes of this.
However, for something with an expression of feeling such as this, I would have imagined using darker, more depressing colors. This burst of what seems like sunset surprised me, pleasantly so.
